We are seeking a talented individual to join our Information Technology team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will support Marsh's MongoDB/ProsgresSQL database environment as an individual contributor who works independently with minimal supervision. You will be part of a large global team responsible for significant databases and MongoDB/ProsgresSQL-related projects across AUS, UK, Canada, and the US. This is an emerging, varied role with the opportunity to grow your technical depth and operational impact.

We will count on you to:

• Install MongoDB/ProsgresSQL on Linux servers and create/maintain replica sets

• Create MongoDB/ProsgresSQL databases, collections, and documents to support application needs

• Create, update, and drop users and roles in alignment with access standards

• Execute and support MongoDB/ProsgresSQL backup and recovery processes

• Partner with offshore teams to ensure smooth transitions and effective work handovers

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong English proficiency

What you need to have:

• 2+ years of hands-on MongoDB/ProsgresSQL experience

• Experience planning and executing MongoDB/ProsgresSQL replica set installations

• Experience implementing backup and recovery processes

• Experience working in a Linux environment

• Experience with MongoDB Atlas and/or Ops Manager

• Experience with performance tuning in MongoDB/ProsgresSQL environments
